Every agreed context source mapped: format, condition, volume, and access requirements noted before any connection is made.
The Context Audit: prove the value before the build.
The Context Audit is the low-commitment, paid first step. Before a build price is written, we map your context sources, propose a schema, and identify the one skill most likely to produce visible output. You receive a fixed quote before any build work begins.
A structured organization plan covering how your context will be categorized, tagged, and kept retrievable inside the company brain.
One skill identified as the highest-value starting point, with a plain explanation of what it reads, what it produces, and what approval step precedes any output.
A priced proposal with explicit scope, in-scope and out-of-scope items listed, and data-loading risks flagged before you commit to the build.
What happens during the audit.
The audit is intentionally scoped and time-limited. Its purpose is to remove the main unknown in any brain build: the real condition and volume of the context sources. That unknown is what makes flat build quotes unreliable.
At the end of the audit you have enough information to decide whether the build makes sense at the quoted price. There is no obligation to proceed.
Audit price agreed before work begins. The build quote produced at the end is a separate, fixed price. No build work starts until both prices are agreed.
Agree the sources
We list every tool and format you want to include (Drive, Notion, call transcripts, reports, SOPs). Exclusions and sensitive items are recorded at this point.
Inventory and assess
We log the format, condition, and volume of each source. Messy exports, access gaps, and cleanup requirements are noted honestly because they affect the build price.
Propose the schema
We draft an organization plan: how context will be structured, tagged, and kept retrievable inside the AI-readable wiki that forms the company brain.
Identify the flagship skill
We recommend one skill that will produce the most visible, day-to-day output for your team. We explain what it reads, what it produces, and what the approval step looks like.
Deliver the fixed build quote
Scope, price, and risks laid out in writing. You decide whether to proceed. No pressure, no auto-start.
What you receive at the end.
A plain-language list of every context source reviewed: tool, format, volume estimate, condition notes, and access requirements. Sensitive or excluded items are documented separately.
A structured plan showing how your context will be organized inside the brain: categories, tags, organization rules, and the rationale for each choice. You can review and amend it before the build begins.
A written description of the one skill selected as the starting point: what it reads from the brain, what artifact it produces, what the human approval step looks like, and why this skill over others.
A priced proposal for the brain build and flagship skill. Scope is explicit: what is included, what is not, and what would change the price. Data-loading risks are flagged so there are no surprises mid-build.
How the Context Audit fits the rest of the ladder.
The audit is Step 1. It feeds directly into Step 2 (the Brain Build, priced 2,000 to 4,000 pounds) and Step 3 (Maintain and Operate, 2,000 pounds per month). Nothing in Step 2 or Step 3 is priced or started without the audit completed and the scope agreed.
- The audit funds the scoping work and the learning it produces.
- The build scope is capped to what was inventoried in the audit, so the fixed price stays fixed.
- The flagship skill built in Step 2 is the same one identified and explained during the audit.
- No output from any skill is sent to third parties without a human approval step. This applies throughout the build and the ongoing maintenance.
- The audit is built and run by us on our own infrastructure, which we operate for our own company brain. It is not a published third-party platform.

We map your sources, propose a schema, identify one flagship skill, and end with a fixed build quote. The audit is the only route to a defensible price for the build.
